Cameron :I am a home-schooled seventh grader. I like all things technological. I joined the robotics team to learn how to program robots. This is my first year of robotics. I work on the lab book, help with the programming, and participate in the breakdown and building of robots.
Nathaniel B :Hello, World! I am a home schooled 8th grader, who loves to learn and experiment. I joined this robotics team, because I had always been fascinated by robotics and wished to learn about the design process and how a robot is programmed.
Nathan R :I am in eighth grade at Bloomington Lutheran School. I joined the robotics team to learn more about basic building and construction. This is my first year of robotics. I work on the building and electrical work for both bots, depending on what is needed.
Lincoln :My name is Lincoln and this is my first year on the robotics team. I joined the team to have fun and learn more about engineering. I am a robot driver and I work on the scissors lift and electrical components.
Ethan :My name is Ethan. I am in 10th grade at Jefferson High School. I have been a part of FTC since 2011. I’ve also worked on the drive train on DREx. I initially joined the team to learn about building robots.
Josh :My name is Josh and this is my first year of robotics. I am in seventh grade at Bloomington Lutheran School. I work on the scissors lift.
Tristen :My name is Tristen. I am in seventh grade at Bloomington Lutheran School. This is my first year on the robotics team. I joined the team to learn about mechanics and how to drive a robot. I have helped create the scissors lift that is on our robot, DREX, along with my friends, Lincoln and Josh. I also scout other teams during and outside of competitions.
Timothy :I am in seventh grade at Bloomington Lutheran School. I joined the robotics team to learn how to build and drive a robot. This is my first year of robotics. I work on the website and the mechanical parts of our first robot, JIMMY.
Nathan H : My name is Nate, and I am a student at Bloomington Lutheran School. I have joined the robotics team ‘The Designosaurs’ to learn how a robot functions, learn how to drive, and to sharpen up my mechanics skills. I focused mainly on the mechanics of the robot and I am learning how to drive the robot we have built.
Tyler : My name is Tyler and I am a team member of the 6369 Designosaurs. I have worked on the Jimmy Bot, doing the drive train and chassis of the bot. I also have worked on the Drex bot. I have helped install the arm, worked on the chassis, sodered the engine wires, and helped strip and attach wires to motors and for other connections.
